Equinor is an international energy company with its roots in Norway. Traditionally, the company has focused on oil and gas, but in recent years they have increased their efforts in renewable energy, particularly offshore wind power. Equinor operates globally and is considered one of Europe’s largest gas suppliers.
The initial challenge was that the existing mandatory course for leaders, safety reps, and union reps was perceived as dull and unengaging. Diggle provides Equinor with the tools to encourage active learning and improvement through discussion, reflection, and experience exchange — three cornerstones of effective learning.
Through Diggle, the company developed a pedagogical approach that have created even greater engagement and individual accountability concerning health, safety, and environmental issues.
Our Advanced question types are designed for more interactive and collaborative training sessions.
Cultivate a dynamic and interactive atmosphere that keeps participants engaged and invested.
Collaborative space for company-specific training and discussions.
Through new methods, participants’ learning outcomes have improved, while the linkages to everyday practice is becoming stronger. Diggle is used to support and enhance learning objectives, and to ensure mutual understanding and effective learning processes. By integrating HSE with Equinor’s current strategy through engagement and interactivity, the company is one step closer to the ultimate goal: zero harm and safety through collaboration.
Using Diggle as a learning tool provides an entirely different level of engagement from participants and more lively and dynamic discussions than strictly analogue and presentational tools. We are very pleased with the new version of our learning material!
